After the climate strike of September 20th, Victoria Square is left covered with hundreds of chalk messages.

Some messages  – such as “This is what democracy looks like” – are echoes of the protesters’ chants. Others are love messages for our planet or direct calls for politicians to take action.

Even the iconic statues haven’t been spared, their wings being underlined with bright colours, their bodies tattooed with severals Extinction Rebellion’s logos.

A temporary way for the climate activists to leave their mark.
