Documentary maker at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery:

“Lea worked with the Engagement team at Birmingham Museums Trust whilst completing her MA. We invited her to take a placement with us to make a series of mini films, documenting a collaborative curatorial process. Her commitment to that work was evidenced in her willingness to go above and beyond the brief given to her. Eager to produce high quality work, Lea ensured she embedded herself into the organisation, making good working relationships with project staff and community participants. Her final documentaries were of high quality and she was able to meet deadlines for the exhibition, which now features a finished piece of her work. She is committed, flexible, personable and professional. “

“Léa has been a wonderful addition to the team in her role as Creative Graduate Assistant. Her creativity and can-do attitude has allowed us to get in touch with our student body more effectively than before. Lea has worked on a number of projects within the school, including: the Studio Media Studio, the Graduate Ball, Coffee Mornings and so on. Léa would be an amazing addition to any team, as she was to the school.”
